01Overview
Ultra-compact megapixel engine for software decoding
The E20 is a 2.6 g imaging engine with a 1280 × 800 mono global-shutter sensor delivering up to 60 frames per second. It is designed for software decoding: the engine supplies images and your host processor runs the Dokivision decoding library.
This architecture gives device makers the lowest engine cost and power draw, with full control over decoding behaviour. Typical reading range is 45 to 590 mm on 13 mil EAN-13, and the engine is qualified for repeated 1.2 m drops.
