01Overview
Compact embedded 2D scan module for unattended terminals
The EM48 is a presentation-style scan module with a very wide 74° × 65° field of view. Codes are read from almost touching the window out to 90 mm, which suits terminals where users hold a phone or ticket up to the reader.
USB and RS232 connections, LED and buzzer signalling and a 5 V supply make it straightforward to add to medical, payment and kiosk equipment.
